| Following the dismantling of the cap and ring package on June 26, 2002, the Murphy Windmill is now being stripped down to its concrete base. All the materials will be restored or replaced depending on their condition. Then the rebuilding process will begin along with the installation of the restored cap and ring. The mechanism was shipped back to the Netherlands to be restored by the internationally renowned windmill expert, Verbij Windmill Design & Construction, BV. |
